Allan Roeher was raised in Hodgeville, Saskatchewan. He is a graduate from the University of Regina with both a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film and Media Production, minoring in Arts Administration, as well as a Diploma in Business Administration. His graduating film, April Doesn't Hurt Here, has screened across Canada and around the world. Along with Matthieu Belanger, Allan is the producer on the feature film Basic Human Needs. The film is written and directed by Matt Yim and was made under the Indiecan 10K challenge which is hosted by Avi Federgreen of Indiecan Entertainment. Basic Human Needs will be having it's World Premiere at the Whistler Film Festival in December of 2015. In 2015 Allan was the 2nd Assistant Director on two feature films; A.R.C.H.I.E, directed by Robin Dunne, and The Adventure Club, directed by Geoff Anderson.
